Kareena Kapoor Khan will be approached to play main lead in Gabbar!
The reports making way from sources say that the Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to be approached for Gabbar, which is the Hindi version of Tamil Blockbuster Ramanaa. It is learnt that the makers are all set to approach her for the film, which stars Akshay Kumar in lead role.
It is to be helmed by Telugu filmmaker Krish, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will produce it. "Kareena's name has come up for the role of the leading lady. She hasn't been approached yet, but she is likely to be signed on for the role. She is expected to play Akshay's wife in the film, which will also feature another heroine," said sources.
As it is heard, Kareena will be approached to play the role, which was originally played by Simran in the movie. Simran made a special appearance in the film, while Ashima Bhalla starred in other role. "We haven't confirmed the heroine yet. Currently, we are busy with the pre-production work and when we zero in on the leading lady, we'll announce it. It's too early to confirm anything at this stage," Krish said.
